Chairman of the Bored
I wanted to produce a series of images subverting the idea of propaganda posters based on the (possibly) real thoughts of Chairman Mao, not the 267 aphorisms more widely know and distributed. The endless proselytising must have been awfully tedious…
I also wanted to produce some work that wasn't just a result of text to image generation; something a bit more hands on. So, to achieve the results I've ended up with digital collage; a mix of Midjourney, Photoshop and Illustrator, along with Topaz Gigapixel to scale the designs to a definition high enough to print at scale.
