Yokai Adventures

I love the pictures I've seen of Japanese yokai, or spirit beings–sometimes demonic, sometimes just mischievous. Like many anime artists, I've created some yokai adventures of my own, using MidJourney and other AI tools. I especially like the traditional belief that if ordinary household objects survive long enough (100 years, they say), they take on a life of their own and become yokai of sorts. My leading picture below experiments with that idea, setting it in a classically boring 1950s living room. I also love the bake nekos, or cat yokai, since I'm a big cat fan.
