About Me

My name is Katja. I am a cultural scientist, specializing in literature. Since my youth, I have been engaged in creative processes, including drawing and photography, as well as experimental attempts with Super 8 and video. My interest lies in exploring different ways of communication, primarily using visual media. My photographic focus has steadily evolved from documentary representation to detailed perspectives and abstract imagery. The use of AI offers a new level of creative image design, which I perceive as a dynamic interface between technology and my creativity. For me personally, it feels as though a gate to a new, unknown dimension has opened. It has created an inspiring space where it is possible to create and explore new realities. Here, it is possible to combine the incompatible, breathe life into inanimate objects, liquefy the tangible, and deconstruct and reshape forms.
In my images, I try to connect my thoughts and emotions and give them a visual form. This is my way of connecting with the world. Things that are important and close to me must touch me emotionally. I believe that personal traits and moods are reflected in the images. The desire to experiment, the engagement with the unconventional, and also a melancholic metaphor are present.
The use of AI in art will bring about profound transformative processes and also change the definition of art. The boundaries of artistic creation have been expanded through the synergy of humans and machines, and I am excited to be a part of it.
