I’m Heidi Hurlbert, a digital artist who creates from the space between abstraction and emotion. My journey began as a tug-of-war between my inner dreamer and critic—but over time, I’ve learned to embrace both. I work with Photoshop, Illustrator, GIMP, and Canva, crafting pieces that range from surreal realism to conceptual storytelling.
My art explores themes like coexistence, transformation, and perception—often through hybrid creatures like robo-cats and owl-tabby hybrids. I’m fascinated by how digital media can communicate deep emotion, even in abstract form. Each piece is a reflection of how I see the world, and a quiet invitation for others to feel it too.
What inspires me most is the idea that we never truly see ourselves—only how we wish to be seen. That mystery drives my work. Through light, space, and digital distortion, I try to capture the fragments of truth that live in between.
