About Me

I’m Shannon Bulrice, a self-taught digital artist and designer from Long Beach, California. Art has always been my way of expressing emotions I couldn’t verbalize. At 18, I discovered my love for digital design, teaching myself CorelDraw, which sparked a lifelong passion for blending art and technology. Over the years, I’ve mastered Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and now I incorporate AI tools like Midjourney’s Niji model, Magnific AI, and Topaz AI into my creative process.

My work is influenced by Pop Surrealism, Lowbrow, and the individuality of the human experience. Growing up in Southern California in the 80s has shaped my perspective, and I’m deeply inspired by the beauty in imperfection and the stories we all carry. Recurring themes in my art include big eyes and religious iconography, which reflect my journey to reclaim control over parts of my past.

My creative process is a mix of exploration and intuition. I love experimenting with AI to push the boundaries of what’s possible, evolving each piece until it feels complete. After decades of working with global brands in the Automotive and Action Sports industries, I’m now focused on creating art that’s meaningful to me.

As I continue this journey, my goal is to build a life where I can create every day, using technology to expand the possibilities of art and have my work recognized for its uniqueness.
