Athan Smyrlis, MD, is a physician-artist and founder of True Health Compass. He creates narrative images that plant a working compass inside everyday scenes—where smoke gives way to riverlight, where a healer meets a seeker hand to hand—to ask a simple, urgent question: Where is North for this life? He uses AI for exploration and finishes by hand for texture and calm clarity. His aim is orientation over spectacle—art that steadies the heart and points people home. He lives and works on Long Island, New York.
