Straggler Art

Straggler Art

I am a programmer by profession and I worked for more then three decades in the software development projects in leading positions. Digital art has fascinated me for years as a new way for capturing mysterious corners of the human imagination. Today, we can confidently say that the digital art offers limitless horizons for everything, from figurative compositions to landscapes and abstractions and especially with the advent of artificial intelligence and the possibilities provided by generative art. If I should say something about my work, which began in 2007, I think it is best to refer to the words of the immortal Gustav Klimt: "Whoever wants to know something about me as an artist, the only notable thing ought to look carefully at my pictures and try and see in them what I am and what I want to do." And as Otto Dix once said: "All art is exorcism. I paint dreams and visions too, the dreams and visions of my time. Painting is effort to produce order, order in yourself. There is much chaos in me, much chaos in our time." Join me on this wild ride through creativity, where every stroke tells a story and every color screams for attention!

Posthuman Impressionism

Impressionism as an artistic direction ended around 1930, in order to give way to a more modern artistic expression.
However, modern times have led to its revival and it seems that it has never been more alive than it is today, as evidenced by the emergence of numerous new creators around the world.
Probably many will not agree with the probably too ambitious term “posthuman impressionism”, but it is only an attempt to draw attention to the novelty that AI generative tools bring us.
It is in this sense that this series of works was created, where an emphatically unusual and intense color was used, in order to best accompany the complex triptych narrative.

In Search of Meaning

Searching for meaning, like the question of all questions — sometimes through a fantastic journey, sometimes through sacrifice, and always in solitude.
Find yourself in one of the following pictures!

That is Who We Are

This is a cycle of works that explores the most hidden human secrets. It is an attempt to discover our position in the world, our aspirations and ambitions, but also our highest mountains and deepest swamps.
A mixture of struggle, joy and pain, accompanied by existential fear of an uncertain future.

Memento Mori

This is a cycle of works that tries to deal with the themes of life’s transience, loss of hope and the inevitability of fate from different angles.
So, a classic medieval motif related to the funerary art of that time, but with a touch of the 21st century and ideas of posthumanism and transhumanism.
