CLee

I am an autodidact visual artist who in my late teens took to photography, influenced by my father Cecil F. Lee, an amateur photographer. I also tried my hand at painting and mixed media work. I bought my first computer inspired by the lure of a new creative and intellectual frontier. I created a digital library of my tactile work and became inspired by a newly gained ability to manipulate my artwork. As my skills developed, I began to offer photo restoration service at which point I realized I was becoming a computer artist. I attribute the emergence of the phrase Computer Evolved Art (CEA) to my photo-restoration experiences and the experimental unstructured nature of my self-taught skills.
