Anthropomorphic Animals

Description:

Animals have always played a prominent role in human cultural expression, acting as a bridge between reality and imagination, between the concrete and the symbolic. Aesop and Phaedrus used animals in their fables to impart moral lessons, making animals the vehicles of universal wisdom. In the Middle Ages, the "Roman de Renart" used anthropomorphized animals to satirize society.

In more recent literature, "The Adventures of Pinocchio" by Carlo Collodi features the Cat and the Fox, characters that symbolize life’s temptations and challenges. Lewis Carroll, with his "Alice in Wonderland," introduced the White Rabbit, who leads Alice into the upside-down world, symbolizing the journey into the unknown and the challenges of growing up. Further examples include The Cat in Boots, Little Red Riding Hood, and The Bremen Town Musicians by the Brothers Grimm. In Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf," each animal character is represented by a specific musical instrument.

In Japanese manga, animals take on roles ranging from heroic to comedic, often blurring the line between fantasy and reality. In cinema, Walt Disney’s works have brought animal protagonists to the heart of popular culture. From "Mickey Mouse" to "Scrooge McDuck," these characters have spent decades entertaining and educating, exploring themes like friendship, loyalty, adventure, and the challenge of good versus evil.

"Anthropic Animals" is a tribute to the animals that continue to be a source of inspiration, provocation, and, above all, emotional connection in human stories. The work is entirely created with AI-based tools. The images were generated using Midjourney v. 6.0, the music was produced with @soundraw_global, and the editing was carried out using the AI features of @capcutapp software.
