This collection is inspired by the rich mythology of Nagas – the serpent deities deeply rooted in the beliefs of Thailand and Southeast Asia. In local traditions, Nagas embody both protection and mysticism, often depicted as guardians of rivers, caves, and treasures. They come in many forms – some fierce and powerful, others radiant, benevolent, and divine.
My work reimagines the journey of a Naga princess who devotes herself to ascetic practice and spiritual transformation in order to ascend into the human realm. This narrative is woven into visuals that merge mythology with high fashion, portraying the divine feminine not only as a cultural symbol but also as a modern icon of strength, beauty, and luxury.
Each piece highlights the Nagas in their diverse manifestations – multi-headed serpents, underwater guardians, and luminous crystal beings – surrounding the goddess in her sacred moments of meditation, transformation, and grace.
Through this work, I aim to celebrate my Thai heritage while blending it with my passion for haute couture and fashion aesthetics. It is both a tribute to the sacred stories of my culture and a statement of how traditional mythology can be reimagined in contemporary artistic expression.
