Unheard amongst the myriad
Silence is my equal
Doubt of being, my existence

I am unseen and invisible
More meaningless than the series
Bed-watched in streamed comatose devotion each night
Less warranted than the idle scribblings
Discarded after each long and boring lecture
If no one says, “I see you”

If no one says, “I want you”
I am more pointless than the imposter
Who fulfills their unconscious desire
To be held in conversation
At every gathered moment
