Grey
In a dystopian future where humanity has nearly completely destroyed its environment, only a few refuges remain. Like gigantic spaceships, windowless and forbidding, futuristic concrete structures rise amidst the desolate remnants of nature. The massive concrete structures, with their smooth and monochromatic surfaces, offer no view outside. Any connection to the external world is severed. The inhabitants are isolated from the uninhabitable environment. The price for this is high. People live alienated and isolated, having lost their connection to nature. The concrete walls serve as both protection and prison, a constant reminder of past mistakes and the failure to create a sustainable future in time.
