Konkanya Thepveerakul

I am Konkanya Thepveerakul, a Thai AI artist and visual storyteller working under the name GoldenChiArt. My work explores the intersection of surrealism, symbolism, cultural memory, and contemporary AI-generated imagery, creating dreamlike visual narratives shaped by emotion, imagination, and light. My subjects move freely between nature, mythology, everyday life, and imaginative worlds, yet luminous gold remains a recurring visual language throughout my work. Inspired by childhood memories of Thai temples and the delicate shimmer of gold leaf, this fascination has gradually evolved into my own interpretation of “digital gold”—a bridge between my cultural roots and contemporary AI art. In 2026, my work was selected as one of 12 shortlisted works for Canvas of the Future at the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva and exhibited along Quai Wilson. I was also featured as a 2026 Canvas of the Future Artist Spotlight. These experiences strengthened my belief that deeply personal memories and cultural influences can transcend their place of origin and resonate with audiences across cultures. Rather than recreating tradition, I seek to transform its memories, textures, and symbolism into new visual experiences—where heritage, imagination, and artificial intelligence coexist.
