Moonlight Fantasy: A Celebration of Black Women and the Moon

Moonlight Fantasy: A Celebration of Black Women and the Moon

AI ArtAI Art SeriesSep 30, 2024
Denise Fulks
I am submitting a nine-part AI art series, Moonlight Fantasy: A Celebration of Black Women and the Moon, to the AI art competition. This art series pays homage to the beauty and resilience of Black women set against the backdrop of the ethereal moon. Each piece in this series showcases a stunning Black woman, adorned in a variety of styles and colors, bathed in the soft glow of the moon. From surreal landscapes to gothic cityscapes, the art explores themes of dreams, mystery, and empowerment.

Straggler Art
This is a cycle of works that tries to deal with the themes of life’s transience, loss of hope and the inevitability of fate from different angles. So, a classic medieval motif related to the funerary art of that time, but with a touch of the 21st century and ideas of posthumanism and transhumanism.
