In the shadows of Kandarpolis

The aim was to get an Egyptian atmosphere, spiced up with dark fantasy elements and heroism – the imaginary city was named Kandarpolis. The background consists of numerous black hieroglyphs on a beige parchment-like surface, creating a rich and mystical atmosphere. The symbols vary in shape and size, depicting various figures such as animals, humans, and objects, arranged vertically along the entire backdrop. The color palette includes mostly deep blues, earthy browns, burnt oranges, cream, and black, with watercolor effects adding texture and movement. The lighting is dramatic, casting shadows and highlights that emphasize the character's build and the reflective quality of the items. The overall composition is centered, focusing on the character against the textured and historically inspired background, creating a mysterious and epic mood reminiscent of ancient Egyptian artistry.
