Abstract:
The second part of the notes “Evolution of the Bicycle” explores how the image of the bicycle is reflected in world art from the late 19th to the early 21st century. Through the prism of cubism, futurism, art brut, and neo-impressionism (Metzinger, Casas, Goncharova, Dubuffet, de Kooning, Wall), the author investigates the evolution of painting, complementing art history analysis with personal memories and fascinating historical facts.
