Judge, Jury and Executioner
In the dimly lit cavern of the underworld, the Devil sat upon his throne, his eyes burning with a cold fire. Before him stood a trembling human soul, awaiting judgment."What do you fear most?" the Devil intoned.
"Being alone. Forgotten," the soul whispered.
The Devil smiled, a cruel glint in his eye. "Isolation, then."
With a wave of his hand, the cavern transformed into an endless void, silent and empty. "Here, you will remain, unseen and unheard, for eternity."
As the nameless soul was cast into the abyss, the Devil returned to his throne, satisfied with his decision.
