View profileI've had a fairly interesting and rather unconventional career: I've worked as an illustrator, clothing designer, surf and snowboard shop owner, buyer for an e-commerce company, internet gift & gadget store owner and created a craft beer brand (Original Stormtrooper Beer). The design and illustration was mostly old school - pen, paper, gouache and acrylic but with some late 90s Illustrator and Photoshop work thrown in. When I became a buyer back in 2002, I put down the crayons and thought I'd probably never do anything particularly creative again; however with the advent of the craft ale business, it was my responsibility to decide on the brand identity which meant - initially and because I hadn't touched a pencil or Adobe program in two decades - compiling decks and creating design briefs for other artists to interpret and make material. As things progressed I became more and more involved with creating packaging and merchandise etc, mostly recycling and developing the artwork the designers had come up with. Then in 2023 when the noise around whole AI thing grew deafening, someone showed me something they had created with Midjourney and I had an epiphany. All the limitations I had had about being able to realise an idea, however complicated, disappeared and I happily fell headlong into the GenAI vortex. Suddenly everything was possible and I haven't looked back.

I have for the last 10 years or so been having a lot of fun creating crazy images mainly by piecing many images together to create unique images that are often attempts at humor and often not. I am mainly just having fun but really want to get better at this. The images blow my mind and I love creating them. Now that AI art is here I am having the most fun I have ever had and just want to get better and learn more. It's such an amazing form of art. This is where I am now and I have some interesting things I have made and would love to show it with others.

View profileMy name is Justin aka Byte Brush, I've been creating digital art for over ten years, playing with Photoshop since high school and making my own characters and landscapes. Since the revolution in AI, I have taken my knowledge in digital art and combined it with my skills in AI prompting and editing, allowing me to manifest my visions and ideas in a different way. I never use another artist's name, characters, references, etc., and only use my own ideas or sketches as reference. I then spend hours editing my best pieces by moving, removing, recoloring, adjusting, and more. I love the creative explosion that AI has created and I am an enthusiast for it's future in art and history. It is a unique tool that artists like myself can use to further explore our creative sides and concepts. I created Byte Brush, an online digital brand that represents the entirety of my art, from animations to sculptures to digital artwork. It's an expansive community that I plan to grow into an immersive reality with our first gallery opening next month and hopefully more to come!

As you expect, I've been a trained classical artist for over 7 years, as well as an animator my entire life. So, throughout my work, you will see many artistic concepts of color theory, space, silhouette, motion, and anime, of course. I also have multiple mentors from notable animation studios like Disney and Dreamworks, and they see my work as very promising. :) And very soon, I believe my work will be completely indistinguishable from even the best concept artists in the industry.

Evolution. The merging of man and machine. The fall of Babylon and the rise of something unknown. I see AI not as a tool—but as a partner, a mirror, and sometimes, a prophet. View profileArt has always been a passion and love of mine, but family life and work has meant I have tended to dabble both in watercolour and pastel. Retirement has allowed me to spend more time and artificial intelligence the means to combine my joy of art with story-telling and poetry. In the last six months I have set up an on-line workshop of 25 ai artists who work collaboratively to advance our collective knowledge of Midjourney, as well as a personal art page to showcase my own work. I have avoided referencing other artists and specialise in mythical entities including dragons, faeries, dryads and sprites as well as one off entities such as ‘Hawthorn’, a tree spirit.

For more than three decades, he has worked at the frontiers of digital technology, helping to build processes that Fortune 500 companies and governments still rely on, and authoring systems that underpin today’s cloud infrastructure. His early digital works at word.com, rsub.com and others interrogated the cultural implications of the emerging world-wide-web are permanently archived at the Guggenheim, SF MoMA, and the American Museum of the Moving Image. Neitzert’s current project, Doomscroll.fm, functions as an autonomous broadcast engine: it ingests thousands of daily news stories, processes them through AI models, and re-emits them as distorted transmissions of voice, music, and video. The result is not neutral reportage, but a form of satire, a glitch-pirate signal that reflects the absurdity, violence, and erotic undercurrents of contemporary media. His artistic direction defines the system’s tone, structure, and intent, while the AI introduces unpredictable distortions that amplify the instability of our information landscape.
