2024 AI ART COMPETITION RESULTS

We are excited to present the winners of the 2nd edition of the AI ARTS Competition 2024. The selection of winners was based on both public voting and internal evaluations by the organisers. As always, choosing winners from the outstanding submissions was incredibly challenging. We recognise and appreciate the valuable contributions of all participants.

HYUN’s winning artwork, “Eight Dichotomies of the Human Experience: A Visual Journey,” stands out for its exceptional quality, thematic depth, and professional use of AI. The selection was based on the compelling nature of the submitted works, which received high votes from the community and praise from the competition organisers. HYUN’s background in various creative and analytical fields enriches his art, but the decision was solely based on the merit and originality of his submitted pieces, which effectively demonstrate the innovative potential of AI in art.

The AI Arts platform acknowledges the exceptional work of these four creators whose artworks showcase the innovative potential of generative AI. These artists have produced remarkable pieces, highlighting how AI can transform artistic expression. Their creations have received significant support from both the public and the competition organisers. We celebrate their achievements and view them as leaders in this evolving field, demonstrating the profound impact of AI in art.

The Jury’s Special Recognition category honours artworks that excel in quality and professionalism. These pieces showcase exceptional proficiency and originality, reflecting the artists’ unique skills and creativity. Selecting these works was incredibly challenging due to the high calibre of all submissions. This recognition highlights the innovative spirit and artistic excellence that generative AI can achieve, and we commend these artists for their remarkable contributions to the evolving field of AI art.

These artworks have been chosen by the community for their outstanding originality and the talent of their creators. Although they may not have been placed in other categories, their significant support from both the community and the jury highlights their importance. This recognition underscores the value and impact of these creations within the AI art community, reflecting the strong connection between the artists and their audience. 

These artworks were selected by popular vote. Works already included in the previous sections are not included here.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to all the artists for their incredible submissions and to the community for their enthusiastic support of the participants. For those not listed here, we encourage you to continue your creative journey. Being accepted into the competition is an acknowledgment of the value of your work, as many other submissions did not pass the selection process. We invite you to participate in future competitions and look forward to seeing more stunning artworks.

By the end of this month, the winner and the four leading creators will be contacted to submit their artworks for inclusion in the AI-ARTS STABLE GALLERY. In the coming weeks, selected members from the Jury’s Special Recognition and Community Favourites categories will also receive invitations to submit an artwork for inclusion in the Permanent Gallery.

The winner and the four leading creators will be invited to present their portfolios in the AI-ARTS YEARLY COLLECTION 2024, a printed book distributed globally. Selected artists from the other two categories will also be invited to submit some of their works for the Yearly Collection.
